Justified by the grace of God.
How he came down to bear all our load,
to reconcile all the world.
Jesus christ, the Word, becomes flesh
to win for all sinners righteousness.
The author of our forgiveness.
He takes the laws demands
and for our sins was damned
all by free grace.
Our pascal lamb-
the God in man
willingly takes the sinner's place.

Justified by the works of Christ
by which he procured eternal life.
He's quelled the fire of sin's strife.
He's risen. Our sins forgiven.
His works have made full satisfaction
to complete sinners’ redemption.
His works have satisfied
the wrath of God on high.
It is finished.
His works alone
fully atoned.
Our redemption is accomplished.

Justified by faith in Jesus,
we have for ourselves His righteousness
and we have the full forgiveness.
Faith receives, to Jesus' works cleaves.
And now the Father no longer sees
our wickedness, our sins, misdeeds;
But sees his holy Son
and all that He has done.
Faith in Jesus
takes what he won
for everyone:
His mercy robe of righteousness. Amen.
