Jesus Christ is my righteousness.
He has procured full forgiveness.
He has fully reconciled
all sinners back from the wild.
He becomes the pure perfection,
the author of our salvation.
The obedient, the servant,
the one who is the fulfillment.

Jesus Christ is my redeemer;
he has fulfilled once forever
all the laws demands, commandments
to bring us an inheritance.
All our debt and sins punishment
he takes on to make appeasement.
Crucified for our transgression,
raised for our justification.

Through faith in him I do receive
the forgiveness and his mercy.
No work is left to be finished.
Christ rose, all has been accomplished.
He became unrighteous for me
so that by faith the Father sees
not my sins or my wickedness,
but his Son’s atoning merits.

Through life this shall be my comfort
in times of joy and when I'm hurt.
When doubt arises remind me
who it was that atoned fully.
Death can come, I no longer fear.
I know my savior is sincere.
By faith I shall boldy express:
Jesus Christ is my righteousness! Amen.
