We will push forth in triumph; We must put fear aside;
there's no chain, club, or weapon that will halt or break our stride!
From the ashes rise, with no compromise.
From the silence ascend to bring the hope we defend.

That sweet promise of justice we have sought here at home,
for no soul should be walking down this pathway here alone.
We now rise as one with our banners drawn!
Sing with voices unyielding 'til the break of the dawn.

We will shelter the weary, stand with those cast aside.
We will gather the fallen and will hold them and abide.
With the wounded ones, we will overcome,
and the world will be healing, and the change will be won.

We are building that future, risking life, tears, and end;
sharing love, strength, and equity with family and friend.
